We arrived in Cloverdale on September 7, 2021, and stayed at the Russian River RV Campground. This beautiful campground is located along the banks of the Russian River. With its tall canopy of trees, it’s a peaceful place to relax.

You can’t visit Sonoma County without checking out some amazing wines and legendary vineyards. There are more than 425 wineries and 500 plus eateries to choose from. The city of Healdsburg is no exception. We decided to check out the “Coursey Graves Winery” tasting room. There we enjoyed tasting their Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, Syrah, and their Cabernet with a small plate of crackers and cheese. You can’t possibly leave a wine tasting room without buying a bottle or two. Our choice bottle was their Cabernet.
We booked a reservation for a tour of their estate for the following day. Coursey Graves vineyards are located on Bennett Mountain which is roughly an hour and a half from our campground. It was a very scenic drive. The vineyard sits high above the valley the view was fantastic. Gus was happy he got to tag along.
We spent 6 days and 5 nights at the Russian River campground. Time to hit the road, next stop Greenfield, California.
